Tips + Advice

Dear Reader, Sure, we all have bad days but we do ourselves a disservice when we allow the bad days to get the best of us. Giving in to a bad day is simply a waste of precious hours you could be using to do something incredible. So, in order to battle the bad days, here's a list of twenty ways to have a better day. Call up an old friend Read a magazine Eat some chocolate Go for a run Say hi to a stranger Write something down with a permanent marker Think of your best day Turn on your favorite song Write down five things you're good at Give someone a compliment Watch this video Drink some chai Take a selfie Paint your nails Buy an unneeded beauty item Talk Dream of a perfect day Learn a new joke Roll your windows down and dance while driving Smile I know life can get hard. I understand that sometimes it's easier to call it a day and shut the door and wait for tomorrow. I know that life is worth the struggle though.

An Escape to a Lost City :Gokarna

Image
Lying off the grid,Gokarna: this beach town is sleeping in a dreamy silence. The waters of time stand still here and life sways slowly to their lullaby. Happiness here is sought in simple things, like lying down on the cool sand and hearing the gushing sound of waves against the shore. And looking up at a blanket of a million stars sparkling against the black sky. The moon would be shining in your city as well, the same stars will be twinkling above your terrace back home. But it’s an overwhelming feeling looking at them from here, from an unnoticeable dot on the big World map. Gazing the silent town’s affairs from a little window far away from home, I suddenly realized that life is lived in these little moments, not milestones. Our journey began as an escape (our as in Sabbi and Samee). From a plan that began on the early October 2016, we had planned and started saving up and were ready to embark on an adventure we didn't expect to fall through. We went through maps an

It is true: We (Sister and me) absolutely love cooking. So I decided to spread the love and write a blog post on why I like it- and perhaps it will inspire some of you non-foodies out there to break out the aprons and give it a go too!! 1. Everyone loves food I think that one of the reasons that I first fell in-love with cooking was that food is the universal love language. No matter who you are, you need food to live. It transcends cultures and language barriers: everyone, anywhere, eats. And everyone love nice tasty food, so we all flock to it. Nothing makes me feel better, than inviting my friends around for some lunch or tea. Food brings people together because everyone loves it.       2.It is actually really easy     OK, so some people say they can’t cook. But you know what? I don’t believe them. Cooking is EASY. Cooking delicious, tasty dishes is EASY. Why? There is this thing called recipes. It is fool-proof.

Before we know it, the leaves will be falling and a new season will officially be upon us. And we all know that with a new season, comes new styles!   Every season has its must-have wardrobe items, and in winter, it’s all about being warm while remaining stylish. Here are seven winter wardrobes essentials you need for all occasions. 1. Skinny Jeans    Skinny jeans are perfect for winter as their streamlined silhouette allows you to layer multiple items on top for warmth. Wear them with ballet flats and a leather jacket in the day or point toe heels and a silk drape top for a night out on the town. These go-to pants can do no wrong.  2. Cashmere Sweater     Cashmere Sweaters are perfect for layering with a button up shirt or to wear under jackets. This chic layering piece can be as easy to dress up as it is to dress down. This sweater looks great with a collared shirt protruding from underneath but goes with everything including midi skir

When it comes to Indian clothes, we all love the royal fabrics, rich colors and the intricate work, but can’t deny that they’re not the most easy and comfortable to wear for long hours. This festive season I came up with some easy to wear, comfortable outfits perfect for any occasion from a friend's engagement party to a Diwali puja. Here's how I have styled some look that would work perfectly for day or night. . Here I ignore being too bling  but love to look stylish with the simple pant style drap arro und . Goldenish Brown color chadar with golden boat neck blouse to balance both the colors. The color seems dull in the camera so to complement them I have put a pink bindi and my favorite leather tights. click o n the image for better view (mobile v
